Why should I choose Dedicated Shopper when other delivery services offer a lower delivery fee?

While it is true that other delivery services offer a lower delivery fee, in many cases they raise the price of items when you order online. In addition to this, many specials and sales (such as “manager specials” or “buy 2 items and get the 3rd free”) are only available in-store. With Dedicated Shopper, we do not raise the prices of items, and by sending us to the store, you still get to take advantage of these in-store specials and deals. We pass the savings on to you, and you get a copy of the receipt so that you can be sure that you are not being charged more than we paid for the groceries! To recap: with Dedicated Shopper, there are no hidden fees – you are only paying for the in-store grocery price, plus the delivery fee. When can I expect my delivery?

You will schedule a 1-hour delivery window that is convenient for you! In most cases, your groceries can be delivered the next day following your order, unless you prefer to book a few days in advance!

Do I need to tip the person who delivers my groceries?

While any tip would be greatly appreciated, they are not at all mandatory!

Is there a minimum order amount?

There is no minimum order amount, but please be aware that we cannot offer a lower delivery charge, even if you are only ordering a few items.

Is there a maximum order amount?

For the regular fee, you can order up to approximately 40 items. If you are ordering multiples of the same item (ex. 6 apples; 2 cans of tuna), these will only be counted as 1 item. Any amount over this is subject to an extra charge, but we will let you know if this is the case when you place your order!

Do I need to be at home when my groceries are delivered?

Yes, we are unable to leave your groceries unattended. We also ask that one hour prior to your delivery time, we are able to reach you by phone should any questions about your order arise!

What happens if an item that I request is out of stock/not available at the store?

If you ask for an item and it is not on the shelf at the market, we will ask someone to check for more product in the back. If the item is completely out, we will call you and let you know what comparable products are available, and see if you would like to substitute.

What stores do you shop at?

We will shop at whatever local market that you would like us to go to!

How do I place my order? Why can’t I order online?

We have eliminated the need to order online in an effort to simplify the ordering process and make it more convenient for you! Is there anything that I can’t order?

As long as the store sells it, we are happy to get it for you!

Can I use coupons?

In addition to taking advantage of store sales to save you money, we can also use any coupons you provide to us for future orders. In other words, when we deliver your groceries, we will gladly take any coupons for items you plan on purchasing on your next order.
